The lens is not showing a live image
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording and make sure LoupeBird is enabled. Quit and reopen LoupeBird after changing the permission.

I closed the LoupeBird window
Choose Window → LoupeBird from the menu bar to reopen the lens. You can also click LoupeBird in the Dock.
The image is being held
Move the entire LoupeBird window onto one display. When the lens crosses between two displays, it holds the last complete frame until it is fully on either screen.
I want to compare a mode with the original
Click the selected mode a second time to return to Original, or turn on Compare for a draggable split view.
I cannot click the artwork beneath the lens
The lens itself passes clicks through to the app below it. The title bar, toolbar, resize edge, and active Compare divider remain interactive.
