Cancellation Policy

1. The free trial

HueBird's 14-day trial does not require a payment card. It ends automatically, so there is nothing to cancel and no trial charge. After the trial ends, saved palettes and recipes remain available to view in read-only mode.

2. How to cancel a paid subscription

If you subscribed on the HueBird website, sign in, open Settings, and choose Manage billing. Paddle's customer portal will open, where you can cancel the subscription. You can also use the manage-subscription link in a Paddle receipt or payment email.

If you subscribed through the iPhone app, open Account in HueBird and choose Manage Apple Subscription. You can also manage it in your Apple Account subscription settings. Apple, rather than HueBird or Paddle, controls cancellation of App Store subscriptions.

If you cannot reach the appropriate option, contact support@huebird.art from the email address associated with your account.

3. When cancellation takes effect

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. When you cancel, the billing provider stops the next renewal. HueBird matching, editing, and saving normally remain available until the current paid-through date shown by Paddle or Apple.

After that date, your account becomes read-only. You can still sign in and view saved palettes and recipes.

4. Cancellation is not a refund

Canceling prevents future renewal charges; it does not automatically reverse a payment already made or provide a partial refund for unused time. Refund eligibility is explained in the Refund Policy.

5. Account deletion

Deleting a HueBird account is separate from canceling a Paddle or Apple subscription and does not stop renewal charges. Cancel through the billing provider first if you want future renewals to stop. You may then delete the HueBird account from the Account screen in the iPhone app; immediate deletion remains available even if you choose not to cancel first.
